What is it?
- HIVAMAT stands for: (HI) Histological (VA) Variable (MA) Manual (T) Technique.
- A unique method of physiotherapy based on the action of a pulsating, low-frequency, two-phase alternating electrostatic field generated between the therapist's hands and patient's skin.
- The electrostatic field attracts and drops the tissue under the therapist's hands. Repeating this in rapid succession develops an intensive sympathetic vibration which causes rhythmic changes, or a micro-compressive effect, in the tissue undergoing treatment. The tissue segment is pumped through its entire depth, 8-12 cms.
